A very interesting article. Contratulations. I think your observations and interpretations are very perceptive and close to the mark. They mesh very well with my own WYSIWG conceptual model (formerly DCM). Your idea that we need to distinguish between an observer’s reference time (time of relativity) and system time, is exactly right. A process that spans a finite interval of reference time can occur within an instant of system time.
I agree with another responder, however, that many of the phenomena you described, such particle/wave duality and instant nonlocal correlations can apply equally well to electrons. It’s not clear that they can all be explained in terms of light speed.
